Be told when there is something new.
One list, a few emails a year, for new calculators and guides as they are published. Everything on this site is already free and open — this is not a key to it.
Everything here, open to everyone
None of this is behind the form. It is listed so you can see what you are being told about when it grows, and so you can go and use it now without signing up for anything.
- 17 calculators and simulators — all client-side, nothing stored
- 139 articles — each citing the standards behind it
- 3 complete ISO/IEC 17025 documents — free, and no email asked for
- 8 learning paths — ordered routes through the library
- 6 checklists — for mapping, calibration and qualification
- Templates — protocols and report skeletons
- Pt100 and thermocouple reference tables — computed from IEC 60751 and NIST ITS-90
- The standards index — every document the library is written against
Prefer not to give an address?
The RSS feed carries every new article and asks for nothing. It is the same content by a different route, offered because it is genuinely equivalent and not as a worse alternative put there for appearance.
What happens to what you type
- Stored against your address so the list can be written to, and for nothing else.
- The exact wording of the consent you tick is stored with the record, so what was agreed to can be shown later even after this page’s wording changes.
- Never sold, never shared, never passed to an advertising network.
- An opt-out is kept as a flag rather than a deletion, so signing up again cannot quietly re-add an address that asked to be left alone.
- Read the privacy policy for the whole of it.
Questions
- Do I have to sign up to use the calculators?
- No, and you never will. Every calculator and every article on this site is open to anyone, with no account and no email address. They run in your browser, so there is nothing to charge for and nothing to gate. Signing up is for being told when something new is published — it is not a key to anything.
- What will you actually send?
- An email when a new calculator, guide or template is published, which in practice is a handful of times a year rather than weekly. No newsletter filler, no drip sequence, and nothing sold to anyone else. If that is more than you want, the RSS feed carries the same thing with no address involved.
- Why do you ask for my role?
- Because a calibration technician and a quality manager want different things from the same site, and knowing the split changes what gets built next. It is optional, free text, and used to decide what to write — not to score you as a lead or to pass to a sales team, of which there is not one.
- Can I get the updates without giving an email address?
- Yes. The RSS feed at /feed.xml carries every new article, and it asks for nothing at all. It is a genuinely equivalent option rather than a worse one offered for form, and if you already use a reader it is the better choice.
- How do I get off the list?
- Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and the record is kept as an opt-out flag rather than deleted, so signing up again later cannot silently resurrect an address that asked to be left alone. You can also just email and ask.
