Purpose
To define the principles and rules for designing a temperature (and humidity) mapping study: how many sensors, where to place them, how long to map, at what interval, under what loading and seasonal conditions, and which worst-case challenges to include, so that mapping studies are scientifically justified, consistent and defensible at regulatory inspection.
