Thermal Mapping Summary Report
Results, statistics, hot/cold spots, excursions, deviations and conclusion.
Purpose
The summary report template for a thermal (and humidity) mapping study, structured so that a reviewer or inspector can find the protocol basis, the dataset, the data-quality assessment, the statistics, hot and cold spots, excursions, deviations, limitations, conclusions and approvals in a fixed order.
What it covers
- 1. Study information
- 2. Sensors and dataset
- 3. Results per sensor
- 4. Overall results
- 5. Challenge tests
- 6. Excursions (outside challenge tests)
- 7. Deviations and limitations
- 8. Conclusion
- Authorisation
How to complete it
- 1.Complete every section; write 'none' rather than leaving a section blank.
- 2.Reference raw data files (VAL-F01), sensor calibration (VAL-F08), deviations (VAL-F09) and the CHK-04 / CHK-05 checklists.
- 3.Present statistics per sensor in the table and attach plots (all sensors vs time with limits; plan-view map of means; challenge responses).
- 4.State the conclusion against each acceptance criterion explicitly (pass / fail) and the conditions of use.
Before you use it
- Replace every square-bracket token, starting with [LABORATORY NAME], [ADDRESS] and [EFFECTIVE DATE]. The full token list is in GD-01 Read Me First.
- Have the content technically reviewed against how your laboratory actually works, then approved by the responsible manager before it becomes a controlled document.
- Update the Word fields after editing so the table of contents and page numbers are correct: select all, then press F9.
- Record the document in your own document register and set its review date.
