Humidity Calibration Worksheet

Raw data, references, stabilisation and calculations for a humidity calibration.

Purpose

The technical record for a humidity calibration under SOP-22: reference hygrometer and PRT, chamber set-up and sensor positions, stabilisation, raw readings of dew point / RH and temperature, pressure, the conversion to reference RH at the UUT temperature, uncertainty and checks.

What it covers

  • Item details
  • Reference standards and equipment
  • Environment and chamber set-up
  • Readings
  • Uncertainty and decision rule
  • Deviations, observations and nonconforming work
  • Checks
  • Authorisation

How to complete it

  1. 1.Record stabilisation criteria and the time each point met them; capacitive sensors may need 30 to 60 minutes.
  2. 2.Record reference dew point (or RH), reference PRT temperature, UUT RH and UUT temperature for every reading set, and pressure at start and end.
  3. 3.Show the computed reference RH at the UUT sensor temperature and the sensitivity used.
  4. 4.Record filter condition and any replacement.

Before you use it

  • Replace every square-bracket token, starting with [LABORATORY NAME], [ADDRESS] and [EFFECTIVE DATE]. The full token list is in GD-01 Read Me First.
  • Have the content technically reviewed against how your laboratory actually works, then approved by the responsible manager before it becomes a controlled document.
  • Update the Word fields after editing so the table of contents and page numbers are correct: select all, then press F9.
